Anupam Awasthi - CEO
Anupam Awasthi is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst, responsible for all aspects of strategy and day-to-day operations. Prior to founding Catalyst, he was Director of the Professional Services Team for Qwest Cyber Solutions (QCS), a joint venture between KPMG Consulting and Qwest Communications and the largest Application Service Provider in the United States. At QCS, Anupam was responsible for managing the company’s SAP, Oracle, and Siebel consulting practice. He also was actively involved in day-to-day business operations including managing vendors and resources. Anupam was also Director of Resourcing for Softline Inc., the largest SAP consulting company and the go-to partner for SAP America. While at Softline, Anupam gained extensive experience implementing SAP for the government sector as well as helping companies build offshore practices in India. Anupam currently sits on the board of Atlas One Financial, a private wealth management firm and Scanbuy Inc., a leader in optical intelligence technology and one of Fortune’s 25 Breakout companies for 2005. Anupam has an MBA from National University in California and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Menlo College in California.

Amol Awasthi – COO
Amol Awasthi is the Co- founder and Chief Operating Officer for Catalyst, responsible for overseeing and managing the general operations of the company including Human Resources, Legal, Global Support & Services and Delivery. Prior to joining Catalyst, Amol served as IT manager and Director of Customer Relations in a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Reprographics , where he was responsible for IT infrastructure, vendor relations and customer support. Amol was also the founding team member of a retail company in India called Beacon Mercantile where he was responsible for sales and customer relationships. Amol has been on the board for Tubeline Fabricators and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. and Triveni Engineering Pvt. Ltd. He has a Bachelor¹s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pune, India.

Dr. Rabindra Chakraborty – Vice President, Technology
Rabindra is the Vice President of Technology for Catalyst. His strategic vision has helped steer Catalyst’s product and technology portfolio to its present growth. Rabindra has successfully led delivery of Oracle projects undertaken across the globe by Catalyst. Rabindra developed the initial team, delivery methodology and is involved in constant improvement of efficiency of Catalyst’s global PMO function in order to make Catalyst more affordable in the African market without sacrificing the quality of implementation. Prior to Catalyst, Rabindra was Vice President of Engineering for Airframe Inc., USA, and a founding team member of Versada Networks, USA, where he directed the technology and solution implementation efforts. Rabindra also worked as Project Manager and Associate Director for Hilti Inc.,USA, where he managed the in-house Oracle Implementation for eight countries in Latin America. Rabindra has
15 years experience of successfully participating and leading major Oracle Applications implementations around the world, e.g., Motorola, City of Atlanta, Atlanta Airport, City of Miami. He is also a senior member of the IEEE, and has been named to the International Executive Guild's "Who's Who" and "Who's Who in America" and Marquis’ “Who's Who in America”. Rabindra holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, USA.

Jean-Baptiste Blanc – Vice President, Sales
Jean-Baptiste Blanc is the Vice President of Sales for Catalyst and brings a wide-range of experience from diverse industries and technology fields to the company. Prior to joining Catalyst, Jean-Baptiste worked in engineering and sales for BHV, France, and Vallourec, USA. He also held consulting positions at Ernst & Young, Headstrong and Oraplus, where Jean-Baptiste participated in several global Oracle Applications implementation projects and developed business intelligence and outsourcing practices. Jean-Baptiste has been instrumental in developing Catalyst’s sales, pre-sales and delivery in Middle East and Africa since 2003. He is responsible for leveraging the Catalyst advantage for the group’s growth trajectory in eight countries and helped Catalyst become Oracle CAP, OAEC, Partner Enablement, Siebel and Hyperion Reseller. Jean-Baptiste holds a master’s degree in Engineering from Arts et Métiers, Paris Institute of Technology, France.

Jay Kalra – Vice President, Operations
Jay Kalra is the Vice President of Operations for Catalyst. In this role, Jay leads deployment of internal applications, infrastructure, global procurement, project management, ICT and embedded solutions. Jay has automated multiple business and operational processes within Catalyst via software solution implementation, thereby reducing costs. Jay has also built a strong infrastructure and delivery team within Catalyst to support its growth.
Jay possesses 17 years of experience in software development, delivery and execution of turnkey design and development projects, using all major languages, application servers and databases. Prior to joining Catalyst, Jay was responsible for leading the global IT organization for Systech Integrators, USA. In addition, he is a founder of Enextech, USA and was also its COO. Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Punjab University, India.

P. K. Ray – Vice President, Finance
Prosanta Kumar Ray is the Vice President of Finance for Catalyst. In this role, Prosanta manages Catalyst’s financial operations and provides leadership as the company executes its growth initiatives. Prosanta brings to Catalyst 27 years of experience in managing the finance function within organizations including strategic planning, project financing as well as statutory compliance across varied industry verticals in multi-unit environments. Prosanta has held several senior managerial positions with Tata Iron & Steel Company, Steel Authority of India, Indian Farmers Fertilizers Cooperative Ltd., and Pyrites Phosphates & Chemicals Ltd., where Prosanta was instrumental in creating a higher rate of organic growth for the companies. Prosanta is a management accountant and has a MBA from International Centre for Public Enterprises (ICPE), under Ljubljana University, Slovenia and a Masters degree in commerce from University of Calcutta, India.

Ehab Badr – Director, Delivery
Ehab Badr is Director of Delivery for Catalyst. In this role, Ehab manages Catalyst’s Global Delivery Operations. Prior to joining Catalyst, Ehab’s pre-sales implementation experience in ERP, business analysis, and business application development included successfully and efficiently directing projects in a number of locations around Egypt and North Africa. Ehab also brings to Catalyst ten years of experience in managing the delivery function, defining business process and requirements, and leading cross-functional project teams. Ehab has a degree in Commerce from AIN SHAMS University in Egypt.
